1. Introduction

Equity Sherpa is a UK-based strategy and training consultancy. This will be a three-person consultancy that might also use associates. The company is committed to conducting its business ethically and transparently, in compliance with all relevant legislation, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Equity Sherpa has a zero tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking in all its forms.

2. Nature of the Business and Supply Chains

The company provides professional consultancy and training services directly to clients. Supply
chains are simple and consist primarily of professional service providers, digital platforms, and
office-related suppliers.

Given the scale of operations and the nature of the services delivered, the risk of slavery and human trafficking within the business or supply chains is assessed as low.

3. Commitment to Ethical Practices

Equity Sherpa is committed to:

  • Maintaining fair, transparent, and ethical business practices.
  • Engaging only with suppliers and partners who share the company’s commitment to
    integrity and respect for human rights.
  • Refusing to work with any organisation knowingly involved in slavery or human
    trafficking.

4. Responsibility and Oversight

The directors of Equity Sherpa are responsible for:

  • Ensuring awareness of the risks of modern slavery.
  • Monitoring suppliers and business relationships as appropriate.
  • Reviewing this statement annually to ensure continued compliance and relevance.

5. Review

This Modern Slavery Statement will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary. It will be published on the company’s website and made available to clients and stakeholders upon request.
